Create editable vector illustrations on an Android device by drawing and arranging paths in FreePaint. It is suited to mobile illustration and other graphics work where artwork needs to remain adjustable rather than becoming a fixed image. Users can choose custom document dimensions and set the fill color, stroke color, and stroke width for each drawing.

The Material Design 3 interface supports dynamic colors, matching the visual conventions of Android while adapting its appearance to the device theme. Drawings can be saved as SVG files and reopened from SVG, allowing vector projects to be stored and continued later. The Paint tool produces either open paths or closed paths, with further drawing options available in the Settings section of the overflow menu.

The Eraser tool draws an erasing shape: on closed paths it removes covered sections, while on open paths it removes included points and splits the path into two when a point inside it is erased. Pan and zoom navigation moves around the document with one finger and zooms from the center using a two-finger pinch. The Selection tool uses a rectangular marquee to select overlapping paths, drag the selected artwork to a new position, or start a fresh selection from an empty area.
