FreeShow (Beta)

FreeShow (Beta) lets presenters build and run slide-based shows for lyrics, talks, events, and other live presentations. Slides can combine text with images and videos used as backgrounds, while templates and dynamic layouts let operators arrange display areas and adjust the visual style. Its editor changes font, size, color, outlines, and shadows, and Edit mode allows text to be altered while the presentation is running.

Timed slides support automatic playback, and built-in countdowns can show a congregation when a service is about to begin. MIDI input can advance slides, while MIDI output can trigger lighting or other changes when a slide changes. FreeShow can send different versions of the same presentation at once, such as an audience view, an online-audience view, and a stage view for leaders.

Web Output lets pastors access sermon notes and musicians view presentation material from mobile devices. A mobile remote control allows a pastor or worship minister to operate the show during rehearsals or in smaller churches, while NDI output sends lyrics directly to the computer handling an online stream without converters or SDI cables. These capabilities make it particularly suited to churches and worship teams managing in-person services, livestreams, and stage presentation needs.

The software runs on MacOS with Apple Silicon (arm64), and the current release is 1.6.6-beta.4. It is open-source software distributed as freeware.
