Geddit displays images, GIFs, videos, text posts, and NSFW content, and it can show the communities associated with a user’s subscriptions. Users can search for posts, subreddits, and users, save photos to their device, and share posts with other apps. App-link support lets Geddit handle Reddit links, including use as the default app for those links.

The app is open-source and runs on Android 5.1 or later with Universal architecture. Its feed-based design is intended for reading rather than the full interaction set of an API-based client, and developers can reuse the Geddit Library to build their own read-only Reddit applications. The current release is version 1.7.
