Hilbert

Hilbert is an open-source desktop editor for the Typst typesetting language on Windows. It runs locally and offline, making it suited to people writing mathematical and physics documents without relying on an online editor. Its focus is on preparing structured technical documents with Typst.

The editor compiles documents and updates their preview as you type. It includes tools for equations, figures, plots, matrices, and tables, as well as support for importing data. Code intelligence is provided through tinymist, helping users work with Typst source while editing.

Hilbert installs for an individual user and does not require administrator rights. MirrorNest distributes the official Windows build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing. Its Windows desktop format and offline operation place it in the local technical writing and typesetting category.
