HOPE 26

Use HOPE 26 to browse the 2026 Hackers On Planet Earth conference program and build a personal schedule of talks, workshops, presentations, villages, and other events. The conference is scheduled for August 14–16, 2026, at the New Yorker Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, making the app a practical reference for attendees planning each day.

Sessions are organized by day and room, with a side-by-side schedule view for comparing simultaneous activities. Individual entries can show speaker names, starting times, room names, and relevant links. Search and filtering help locate specific sessions, while favorites create a shortlist that can be exported for later use. Users can set an alarm for an individual session, add it to their personal calendar, or share its website link with others.

The app can follow program changes, and its settings allow automatic program updates to be configured. A custom grid interface adapts to smartphones and tablets and includes a landscape layout option. Integration with the Engelsystem project connects the program with an online system used to coordinate event helpers and shifts. It supports Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, German (Austria), Italian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish; session descriptions are not translated within that language coverage.

HOPE 26 is an open-source productivity app for Android 6.0 and later, suited to conference participants who need schedule details at the venue or while preparing in advance. Version 1.77.1-HOPE-Edition supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices.
