About

Render invoices, reports, and other batch documents on your own server with KimiDoc : HTML to PDF API. It converts HTML and CSS templates into pixel-accurate PDFs, using plain HTML with Mustache-style placeholders for invoices, payslips, bank statements, reports, certificates, resumes, and shipping labels. Documents can be rendered through a REST API individually or in batches of up to 40,000. A warm Chromium-class engine reproduces browser print output, including flexbox, grid, web fonts, SVG charts, right-to-left scripts, and real page numbers defined with CSS @page, without spawning a process for every document or adding conversion glue code.

The service stores versioned templates and includes more than 100 starter templates alongside a browser editor with live PDF previews. Batch jobs provide per-document retries, ZIP archives, and job manifests, while PDF tools cover AES-256 encryption, watermarking, merging, and page assembly. Signed completion webhooks, stored assets, per-key usage metering, and multi-tenant accounts support teams serving their own customers; AI template generation can use any configured OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a local model, though KimiDoc does not host the model.

Documents remain on the server, with no telemetry or outbound calls, making the service suitable for air-gapped environments and regulated invoice, payroll, and patient data.
