At a charging point, select the location in Ladefuchs and swipe once to see the cheapest available charging plan there. This gives drivers a cost check before they choose a plan or charging card. Its scope is deliberately limited to charging-plan price comparison rather than general shopping features.

To retrieve the relevant data, the app contacts its own API server, which obtains current charging information from chargeprice.app. The server then supplies those results to Ladefuchs for display at the selected location. Internet access is required so the app can send requests and receive updated information. Before making a request, it uses network-state access to check whether connectivity is available.

Ladefuchs is intended for drivers using compatible mobile devices, particularly when they need to compare charging costs before starting a charging session. The current version, 3.5.5, runs on Android 8.0 and newer and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. It is open-source software and is available at no charge.
