Microsoft Word: Edit Documents16.0.20326.20112

Draft, revise, read, and share documents from a mobile device with Microsoft Word: Edit Documents, using familiar Word-style writing and formatting tools away from a computer. It supports everyday work such as preparing CVs, letters, assignments, notes, and creative writing, while its document viewer opens attachments for reading. The app runs on Android and is available as freeware, with a paid version offering additional features.

Templates provide starting points for CVs, letters, scripts, proposals, invoices, newsletters, and brochures. Rich text formatting, grammar tools, and layout controls help shape both the wording and appearance of a document, and files can be converted between Word and PDF, including turning a PDF into an editable Word file. Comments, real-time collaboration, tracked changes for text and layout, and version history support group review and recovery of earlier drafts.

Users can invite others to view or edit a file, control permissions, check who has access, and send documents or formatted content by email. Copilot assistance can help draft, summarise, refine, organise, and format content; a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription is required for the full Microsoft 365 experience across devices. This makes the app suitable for students, job seekers, office workers, and writers handling documents during commutes, meetings, or other situations away from a desktop.

Version 16.0.20326.20112 continues to add features while improving speed and reliability. Microsoft 365 subscribers can also access the full Office experience across their devices and find special offers within the app.

Free to use — a paid version with additional features is also available.
