Enter a title, amount, and category, tap Save, and Money Swield records an expense in seconds, reusing details when a familiar title is entered. It shows week, month, and year totals by category or event, with data kept offline on the phone and no account, server, sync, ads, or tracking. Version 1.0.2 is open-source Android software for Android 10+ devices using arm64-v8a.

The amount field handles calculations such as 120 + 85 × 2; entries also accept events, payment methods, notes, and up to 10 receipt photos, while unfinished forms remain drafts. Home cards switch among week, month, and year totals with trend charts, and filters for category, event, or text can group entries by day, week, month, or year; reports add charts and highlights and export to PDF or Excel.

Separate totals for each currency keep rupees and dollars apart without converting or adding them, while recurring rent, subscriptions, and bills arrive on due dates, support dated price changes that preserve past expenses, and can be skipped once. Optional suggestions read debit bank SMS only while the app is open; message text is neither stored nor sent away, and the feature never runs in the background.

Deleted expenses remain in a 30-day bin with Undo, and a single ZIP backup can include or exclude photos, restore on any phone, and undo the restoration; the database is backed up before updates change it. Light or dark themes, wallpaper colors or a chosen color, custom categories, events, and payment methods support English, Spanish, and Hindi, while receipt photos use the camera app without camera permission. There is no internet permission, SMS access appears only when suggestions are enabled, and this first F-Droid release contains the same app as GitHub, allowing one source for installation and the other for updates.
