MoneyBuster

MoneyBuster is an open-source shared budget manager for Android. It is designed for people who need to organize projects, members, and bills together. The app can keep a project local or synchronize it with IHateMoney or Nextcloud Cospend, allowing users to choose where project data is stored.

Users can add, remove, and edit projects, members, and bills. Bill search can be narrowed by payer, name, amount, or date. The app generates project statistics and a settlement plan that users can share. Projects can be shared or imported through a link or QR code.

MoneyBuster supports a dark theme and a customizable main app color. It can connect to a Nextcloud account to add projects automatically. A background synchronization service can provide notifications about bill events, and the interface is multilingual through translations managed on Crowdin.

As an Android application, it fits the Finance & Shopping category and runs on Android 5.0 or later. Synchronization with IHateMoney requires an available IHateMoney instance, while synchronization with Nextcloud Cospend requires a Nextcloud instance with the Cospend app installed. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
