occm

occm is an open-source Android application in the Social Network category. It is a dedicated Mastodon client intended for people who use the occm server. The application is a fork of the Mastodon app Moshidon, adapted around occm’s server-specific functions.

Its main focus is integration with occm’s custom direct-message system. Individual and group messages appear instantly, without requiring a manual refresh. Avatars and custom emojis are also rendered within these conversations. This makes the client suitable for users who rely on the occm server’s direct-message features.

occm also integrates the server’s pending mentions feature. This gives users a way to track and manage replies connected with their conversations. The feature is intended to help users avoid missing relevant replies while using the client.

As an Android social-network application, occm is distributed through MirrorNest as a mirror of the official build. MirrorNest stores that build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing it.
