About

Reorder PDF pages by dragging them into place, combine pages from multiple files, remove unwanted pages, or rotate pages to correct their orientation. PdfJumbler provides a focused way to repair document order and assemble custom PDFs without editing their text or graphics. It is useful for preparing scanned documents, arranging collected reports, or removing blank and irrelevant pages before sharing a file.

The main page view supports drag-and-drop movement, while Alt+Up and Alt+Down move the selected page with the keyboard. A second page list can be pulled out on the left for more involved rearrangement, and the 0.4.0 release adds a thumbnail-only view for working from page previews. PDF files can also be supplied as command-line arguments, which suits scripted or repeatable document workflows.

PdfJumbler is published by Martin Gropp as open-source Developer Tools software for Linux. It requires a Java Runtime Environment version 11 or newer; its distribution also provides a Windows setup program named setup-pdfjumbler.exe that creates a Start menu entry, plus a directly runnable pdfjumbler.jar file. Java system properties can select the PDFBox editor and renderer plugins when installed, although earlier plugins are no longer supported. The interface offers German, Spanish, Russian, and English localization, with English as the default and a user.language property available when automatic language detection fails.
