Alire

Alire is an open-source package manager and catalog for Ada software on Windows. It provides ready-to-use Ada libraries for developers who are building Ada applications and want to obtain project components through a consistent tool.

Its command-line utility, alr, is used to obtain libraries from the catalog. It also supports building those libraries and incorporating them into an Ada project.

Alire is intended to fill a role similar to Rust’s cargo or OCaml’s opam within the Ada ecosystem. This makes it relevant to Ada developers who need a central way to work with reusable libraries alongside their own projects.

The Windows version is distributed through MirrorNest as a direct mirror of the official build. Each mirrored build is scanned for malware before publication, while the software itself remains open-source.
