pOT-Droid5.6.0

Browse the German mods.de forums on an Android phone with pOT-Droid, a companion that presents the forum in a form suited to mobile use. It supports forum reading with or without a mods.de user account, serving both casual readers and signed-in participants.

The app provides full handling for BBCode, smileys, icons, and other forum elements, while its bookmark support helps users return to saved discussions. Photos and other media can be viewed, saved, or shared from the app. Different display sizes and screen orientations are supported, and several themes are available, with some customization options. Additional browsing conveniences round out its collection of forum-focused features.

pOT-Droid runs on Android 5.0 or later, uses a universal architecture, and is distributed as open-source software; the current version is 5.6.0. It is suited to mods.de readers who want to follow threads, revisit bookmarked posts, and handle forum media from a phone rather than a desktop browser.

Developers modifying the app should have the Android SDK and Android Studio, the SDK matching the project’s target SDK version, the support and app compatibility libraries, and Maven-managed dependencies. Thread views can be customized with personal CSS and JavaScript files, jQuery can be used, and desktop Chrome can assist debugging after enabling the app’s system debug mode.
