Create and edit documents on an Android mobile device or tablet, then share them with other people for collaborative work. Samsung Notes also supports working with documents on a PC, so it can hold personal writing alongside material developed with others. The freeware Productivity app fits handwritten study notes, voice-backed reminders, annotated reference files, and shared documents.

Write by hand with an S Pen and mark up PDF documents directly inside a note. Notes can combine images and voice recordings, while existing photos can be loaded, tagged, and edited without leaving the note. Its writing tools include regular pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, selectable colors, adjustable line thicknesses, and an eraser.

Start a note with the plus button; newly created notes use the sdocx extension. Samsung Notes can connect documents with PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint formats and applications. Selected notes can be secured by choosing a lock method and password from the settings and note menus.

Notes and memos made in S Note or Memo can be imported through Smart Switch or with a Samsung account. Current version 4.4.29.23 includes a bug fix.
