Silence1.13.1

Silence filters incoming phone calls according to rules you set, letting selected numbers through while rejecting unwanted callers; numbers absent from your contacts are blocked by default. It is aimed at people who want their phone to accept calls from known or contextually trusted contacts without handling every unknown number manually. Rules can allow people you have called, members of chosen contact groups, or numbers appearing in messages, and can unlock a caller after a chosen number of calls within a specified number of minutes. Regular-expression patterns provide additional allow and block criteria, including patterns that match numbers already saved in contacts.

On Android 12 and later, allow and block rules can be tied to SIM 1 or SIM 2, and the current release adds mutually exclusive all/block states for SIM handling. Silence relies on Android’s call-screening access to make the accept-or-reject decision. Depending on your rules, it may inspect call history, SMS and incoming messages, notifications, contacts, phone-state information, and the receiving SIM. Permission to receive boot completion lets cleanup of expired numbers continue after a reboot.

Silence 1.13.1 is open-source software for Android, released under the GPL-3 license, and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures on Android 10 or newer. On Android 10, rejecting calls from contacts may require enabling Contacts permission manually through App info and then Permissions.

It also updates the English and Italian translations.
