Skylight Wallet2.0.0

Skylight Wallet lets you manage Monero on an Android device while keeping the private keys and seed under your control. It uses a Monero light-wallet server (LWS) to find transactions for your wallet, avoiding the need for local wallet synchronization on the phone. Before using it, you must specify an LWS that you operate yourself or that is run by a trusted friend.

Instead of maintaining a full local wallet sync, the app provides the selected LWS with your private view key; the server uses it to search for relevant transactions and sends back only the minimal information Skylight Wallet needs. This reduces syncing demands and can save time, mobile data, and battery. Since the wallet receives limited transaction data, its connections remain fast and efficient, including when routed through Tor.

Built-in Tor support lets you optionally connect to the chosen LWS through Tor, while connections to all helper APIs are automatically protected with Tor. An address book organizes contacts, OpenAlias simplifies secure sending without cumbersome addresses, and subaddress support provides additional receiving addresses. Its self-custody model keeps the private keys and seed with you rather than the developer.

Skylight Wallet 2.0.0 is open-source software developed by MAGIC Grants, a 501(c)(3) public charity. It runs on Android 7.0 or newer devices using the arm64-v8a architecture, and suits Monero users who want mobile access through an LWS they control or trust.
