Telegram X

Telegram X lets people exchange instant messages through a simple, fast, secure service that keeps conversations synchronized across all their devices. As an alternative Telegram client from Telegram FZ-LLC, it is built on TDLib, the Telegram Database Library. It is an Android app in the Communication category, intended for people who want another way to access Telegram.

Its interface emphasizes quick operation and smoother, more responsive animations, giving interactions a different feel from the standard Telegram client. Experimental features further distinguish it and provide additional behavior to evaluate within the Telegram ecosystem. These characteristics make it suitable for users comparing interfaces or testing how Telegram works through an alternative client.

It is free to use, with a paid version offering additional features. The developer declares that the app shares no data with third parties, although it may collect location, personal information, and six other data types. Data is encrypted while in transit, and users can request deletion of their data.

The current 0.29.0.1813 release improves censorship circumvention and video playback, while also bringing stability, performance, and security improvements plus fixes for critical issues.

Free to use — a paid version with additional features is also available.
