Trayzero

Trayzero is an open-source productivity application for Android. It supports capturing, organizing, reviewing, and selecting personal actions and projects on a mobile device. It is suited to people who want a structured place to manage information and decide what to do next.

Captures can be made from a floating button on any screen, by sharing from another app, with voice-to-text, or through a home-screen widget. An item may also contain a photo or a voice memo. Process Inbox presents captures one at a time and guides decisions about whether an item is actionable, fits the two-minute rule, can be delegated, or is a single action rather than a project. Information can be organized into Inbox, Next Actions, Projects, Waiting For, Someday/Maybe, Calendar, and Reference, with project outcomes, next-action warnings, project statuses, and areas of responsibility.

The seven-step Weekly Review wizard covers the inbox, next actions, waiting-for items, calendar, someday/maybe items, projects, and intentions for the following week, and a daily review is also available. The Engage tab filters next actions by context, energy level, and available time, while contexts include phone, computer, errands, home, office, anywhere, and waiting and can be extended. System notifications cover due dates, defer-until dates, waiting-for follow-ups, and weekly reviews, with Done, Snooze, and Move to Next Actions buttons, and these reminders persist through reboots and app updates; optional two-way calendar sync mirrors dated items into the system calendar.

As an Android application, Trayzero fits a mobile workflow in which actions and projects can be captured, organized, reviewed, and selected according to current circumstances. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage after scanning it for malware before publication, while the open-source license identifies Trayzero as open-source software rather than a proprietary task application.
