WAFRN1.17.3

WAFRN connects you with friends across social platforms through a Tumblr-inspired social network. It links Wafrn communities with software in the Fediverse as well as Bluesky, allowing conversations to cross the boundaries of individual services. The project presents this experience as a social network that respects its users and aims to support a better internet.

You can participate by joining a Wafrn server, while organizations or technically inclined communities can host their own Wafrn server. Its federated structure makes it suitable for people who want to communicate with friends across different platforms without concentrating their social activity in one network. The application is intended for everyday social communication and for communities looking for an alternative to centralized networks.

WAFRN is distributed as open-source software for Android, with the Matrix community serving as its preferred place for community interaction and Discord also available. The current release is version 1.17.3 and requires Android 7.0 or newer on arm64-v8a hardware.
