64Gram Desktop1.2.11

64Gram Desktop lets users access Telegram conversations and other desktop-client functions from a Windows computer. It is an unofficial Telegram Desktop client, based on Telegram Desktop rather than being an official Telegram release.

Its defining distinction is a native Windows 64-bit build with additional enhancements. The project exists in part because official Telegram Desktop does not provide a Windows 64-bit build, and 64Gram supplies that x64 edition. The current release is 1.2.11, corresponding to TDesktop 7.2.9.

The software is aimed at Telegram users who prefer working from a Windows desktop, such as people handling messages while using a computer for other tasks. Compatibility information lists Windows 7 and later, Windows 32-bit and 64-bit builds, and macOS versions newer than 10.12; this release is identified for x64. The source code is licensed under GPLv3 with an OpenSSL exception.

Development contributions are handled through the TDesktop-x64/tdesktop project on GitHub, where contributors create an account, and translation work uses a localization repository and template. Translators can derive a language identifier from Telegram’s log.txt and use it in a corresponding filename such as de.json.
