Enter a street name, city, or point of interest to turn it into geographic coordinates for a mapping or navigation task. ✉➡🌍 Acastus-Photon performs this online address and POI search by sending the name to a Photon service and returning the matching location.

The result can be opened directly in a map or navigation app, including OsmAnd, Maps.me, and APhotoManager. Android’s send command lets you share the location with another person or pass it to another compatible application. You can also start the app by selecting an address in the Android Contacts application SimpleContatcs.

Acastus-Photon contacts Photon-Server-Software over the internet for geocoding, making it useful when place names need to become usable map coordinates on an Android device.
