ADProToolkit lets administrators handle users, groups, computers, and recurring Active Directory work from one Windows console, using manual actions or scheduled runs. Its 40-plus built-in tools and more than 200 reports cover bulk changes, cleanup, offboarding, and security assessment in one workspace. User management includes creating, updating, moving, disabling, or retiring accounts across OUs, resetting passwords, resolving lockouts, and importing one or thousands of records from CSV files.

Administrators can create or delete groups, set their properties, add or remove members in bulk, copy one user’s memberships to another, and report on nested group access. Computer tools check availability, connectivity, last logon, and uptime; retrieve BitLocker recovery keys and LAPS passwords; restart or shut down machines; and push Group Policy updates without opening a remote session. Security reports assess Active Directory configuration, privileged accounts, object and NTFS share permissions including group-derived rights, file access, and AD or DNS problems, while a security score highlights risky misconfigurations.

Custom attributes configured in Settings > Custom Attributes can serve as CSV columns under either their display names or raw LDAP names, appearing in Supported Columns and the downloaded template while honoring preview and {clear} behavior in manual and scheduled jobs. Version 3.2.10 also applies scheduled credentials when the Local Admins Report connects to remote computers and records failed-machine totals and reasons in the service log, including fully denied scans.
