AeroAdmin (Portable)

AeroAdmin (Portable) lets you view and control a Windows computer over the internet from another location, giving you access to a remote desktop for work, administration, or support. Its portable edition is a standalone executable rather than a conventional installed application, and the roughly 2 MB program runs without installation or configuration. Published by Aeroadmin, this freeware Windows System Tools utility is intended for both home and business use, with restrictions applying to that free usage.

It starts remote connections within seconds and supports full remote control, unattended access, screen sharing, and file transfer. Connections can link computers on different LANs, including systems behind NAT, while AES and RSA encryption, ID-and-password authentication, and firewall transparency protect and simplify access. One computer can handle simultaneous connections from and to it, connect with an unlimited number of remote endpoints, and use branding and customization options.

AeroAdmin suits spontaneous customer support, system administration, remote employee monitoring, parental control, online meetings, webinars, distance education, online classes, coworking, collaboration, and remote monitoring. It can also help locate and retrieve a stolen PC when remote access remains available, and multi-monitor support preserves visibility across complex desktop setups. Remote machines can be restarted in safe mode, while the interface is available in more than 15 languages.

The current version is 3.8.2.5, and its compact executable can be carried on a USB drive for use across computers. Users should avoid granting access to unknown callers: AeroAdmin, Microsoft, an internet service provider, or a bank will not call to request control of a PC.
