Air VPN2.26.2

Air VPN gives macOS users a graphical interface for creating and managing OpenVPN and WireGuard connections. It routes network traffic through a VPN while providing controls intended to reduce privacy and security leaks. Its Network Lock can prevent traffic from leaving outside the protected connection when the VPN link is interrupted.

For restrictive networks, Air VPN includes censorship countermeasures such as tunneling over SSH, tunneling over SSL, and direct Tor integration. Advanced settings cover DNS, routing, event handling, and leak prevention, allowing experienced users to tune how connections behave. Events can trigger customizable actions, so network changes or connection states can initiate user-defined responses. Developed by AirVPN, the open-source desktop software is released under the GPLv3 license and is also distributed as freeware.

The project supports Windows, macOS, Android, and GNU/Linux, with builds for x64, x86, armv7i, and aarch64 hardware including Raspberry devices. It fits users who need VPN control on public networks, want Tor or protocol-based censorship workarounds, or require detailed routing and DNS rules. The Security & Privacy catalog entry is version 2.26.2 for Apple Silicon (arm64). Air VPN can be used without an AirVPN subscription, while support is available through AirVPN forums or tickets.
