Alembicons2025.02.00

Alembicons lets users create icon packs from their own artwork on an Android device. It works as a companion to Arcticons, giving people a dedicated place to prepare icons for that icon-pack ecosystem. Users can upload an image, adjust it with the image modifier, and use the resulting artwork as part of an icon pack.

The app is intended for icon designers, Arcticons users, and anyone assembling a personalized set of replacement icons. As a System Tools application for Android, it concentrates on icon-pack creation rather than general image editing.

Alembicons is open-source and the current release is version 2025.02.00. It runs on Android 5.0 and later, with builds for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices. This release adds an image modifier for uploaded images, providing a new editing step during pack preparation. It also corrects an oversized icon displayed in the icon-pack dropdown, making that selection control more consistent.
