Altova SchemaAgent 2026 Client maps relationships among XML-based files so you can see how schemas, stylesheets, services, and instance documents depend on one another. It organizes these resources across a project, intranet, or enterprise, helping teams manage XML information architecture at both project and organizational levels. A graphical design view uses components and color-coded lines to reveal related files, schema elements, data types, namespaces, and dependencies, and its diagrams can be saved or printed.

Drag-and-drop IIR management lets you create or modify import, include, and redefine connections, while the client automatically inserts the resulting IIR code into affected files. Smaller XSD, XSLT, and WSDL components can be assembled into complex documents, allowing standardized resources to be reused and reducing duplicated development work. The tool also shows relationships among XSLT 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 stylesheets so the effects of stylesheet changes are easier to trace.

WSDL files appear as graphical components with their imported WSDL and XML Schema files, inline schemas, namespaces, and definitions, and relationship changes propagate to impacted files. When paired with XMLSpy, users can edit SchemaAgent components and access all schemas in the SchemaAgent server path from XMLSpy’s XML Schema editor.
