Users arrange content with drag-and-drop controls, intelligent menus, and entry helper windows instead of hand-coding the presentation logic. Conditional templates, automatic calculations, rich input formatting, and XPath expression building and evaluation support more detailed report behavior, with XPath 1.0, 2.0, and 3.1 and XSLT 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 supported. Table and chart wizards help create structured layouts, charts, and graphs, while an existing Word document can provide the starting design.

A single design can generate HTML, PDF, Word, RTF, and pure-text reports, along with the corresponding XSLT or XSL:FO stylesheet for each output and eForms such as Authentic data-entry forms with validation and formatting. Automated publishing can run through generated XSLT stylesheets or StyleVision Server.
