Its drag-and-drop report designer creates the corresponding XSLT or XSL:FO stylesheets for each output format, so users can design layouts without hand-coding the transformation. Chart and table wizards, graph support, intelligent menus, and entry helper windows assist with constructing detailed reports, while an existing Word document can serve as the starting point. The tool supports XSLT 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, plus an XPath 1.0/2.0/3.1 expression builder and evaluator. Altova StyleVision 2026 Basic Edition runs on Windows systems using x86 architecture, and version 2026.02.00 includes updated database support. This release addresses poor barcode formatting in PDF Preview and fixes incorrect page totals when a second document section is used.
