Altova StyleVision Server 20252025.02.00.01

Altova StyleVision Server automates the production of business reports and documents from XML, SQL database content, and XBRL data. It applies StyleVision stylesheets and related design assets to render the source into HTML, RTF, PDF, plain text, or Microsoft Word files. Designs can combine dynamic tables, charts, images, bar codes, headers, and footers for both web and print output.

The server uses the report and document generation engine built into Altova StyleVision. StyleVision designs can be saved as PXF packages containing SPS stylesheets, schema and source XML files, design images, and XSLT transformation files, keeping the resources needed for rendering together. It can run from the command line, through an API, or under FlowForce Server or MobileTogether Server management.

When FlowForce manages the process, data mappings run as FlowForce job steps triggered by conditions defined in FlowForce jobs. Enterprises can configure StyleVision Server alongside FlowForce, RaptorXML, MobileTogether, or MapForce Server and add server modules later as requirements change. It suits organizations that need repeatable report publication, document generation, or mobile and server workflows driven by structured data.

The current version is 2025.02.00.01, with an x64 Windows build; supported environments include Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server Desktop and Core 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025, plus Red Hat, CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux 9 and 10, Debian 11–13, and Ubuntu LTS 22.04, 24.04, and 26.04. A free Azure VM template is also available for deployment.
