Generate business reports and documents from XML, SQL databases, and XBRL data in web and print formats with Altova StyleVision Server. Its document-generation engine applies StyleVision stylesheets and related design elements to transform source data into HTML, RTF, PDF, plain text, or Microsoft Word files. This gives organizations a repeatable way to publish structured data as formatted reports rather than assembling each document manually.

A design can include dynamic tables, charts, images, bar codes, headers, footers, and other changing content. StyleVision saves the stylesheet and its supporting resources in PXF files, which can package the XML schema, source XML, design images, and XSLT files required for rendering. The packaged format keeps the inputs and transformation resources together for server-side generation.

The server can run from the command line, be called programmatically through an API, or operate under FlowForce Server or MobileTogether Server management. FlowForce can execute data mappings as job steps in response to triggers defined in its jobs, while MobileTogether Server supports generating reports or documents from a mobile app. Deployments can include RaptorXML Server or MapForce Server alongside the product, with each server operating independently and additional modules available as requirements change; an Azure VM template is also offered.

The Windows x64 edition supports Windows Server Desktop and Core 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025, plus Windows 10 and 11; Linux availability covers Red Hat, CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux 9 and 10, Debian 11 through 13, and Ubuntu LTS 22.04, 24.04, and 26.04. Version 2026.02.00 fixes the malformed path returned in the error message when a generate command fails.
