Design software visually with UML diagrams, then use the resulting model as the blueprint for implementation and documentation. Altova UModel 2024 Professional Edition, published by Altova, generates Java, C++, C#, or Visual Basic .NET source code and project documentation from those designs. It supports all 14 standard UML 2.5 diagram types, helping teams represent requirements, structure, behavior, and deployment relationships across an application.

The modeling environment also handles database designs, XML Schema models, all nine SysML diagram types, and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) diagrams. Diagram views can be customized with different sizes, positions, colors, typefaces, and line styles, while dedicated toolbars, color coding, icons, entry helpers, and quick-edit controls support diagram creation. UModel includes XMI model interchange and code engineering for Java, C#, C++, and Visual Basic .NET.
