About
Altova XMLSpy 2026 Professional Edition lets developers create, edit, validate, transform, and debug XML and JSON content in one workspace. It supports XSD, XSLT, XQuery, XBRL, SOAP, and related structured-data technologies, helping teams work on healthcare records, taxonomies, enterprise integration schemas, and application data.
Its JSON and JSON Schema editors, graphical schema designer, intelligent auto-completion, visual editing views, and SmartFix validation with automatic corrections expose structural and syntax problems during development. XPath, XSLT, and XQuery tools include transformation, building, evaluation, back-mapping, debugging, profiling, and an XQuery Update Facility editor. The package also provides code generation for Java, C#, and C++, file converters, wizards, chart generation from XML data, and a SOAP client and debugger. Developers can edit and validate against DTDs and XSDs, work with Open XML documents, connect to SharePoint Server, and use installed RaptorXML Servers for processing.
It suits software developers, data architects, and integration teams building or maintaining structured-data applications, with Visual Studio and Eclipse integration for development workflows. Altova publishes this Windows application for x64 systems, and the current version is 2026.02.00.
This release preserves a node’s collapsed state when copied and pasted in Grid View, while also correcting JSON-input XSLT debugging, BSON schema-assignment crashes, sample XML and JSON generation errors, and missing validation errors for new xBRL-CSV features.
