Send personal documents from a Windows PC to a Kindle, avoiding the need to open each file before transferring it. Amazon Send to Kindle adds a Send to Kindle command to Windows Explorer’s right-click menu, so a selected document can be dispatched directly from its file location. The command also appears in the print dialog of any Windows application, allowing content to be sent from within the program displaying it.

Several documents can be selected together in Explorer and sent as one batch without opening them individually. Personal documents archived through the service can later be downloaded to any Kindle device or accessed through Amazon’s free reading app on iOS or Android. When those documents have been converted to Kindle format, Whispersync keeps notes, highlights, bookmarks, and the last page read aligned across supported reading locations.

It is aimed at Kindle readers who want reports, work files, articles, or other personal reading material available beyond the computer, including people sending groups of files at once.
