WHDLoad titles can be launched with automatic configuration, while floppy images, hard files, and configuration files can be dropped directly into the emulator. Users can apply CRT monitor frames, overlay effects, and built-in or external GLSL shaders, and controller mapping works out of the box with RetroArch setups. Its interface responds to either a mouse or a gamepad, which suits desktop play as well as compact retro-gaming systems.
