Anchor Wallet1.4.0

Anchor Wallet lets Mac users manage EOSIO wallet activity and approve authentication requests from a desktop application. It keeps the account’s keys on the device, giving the owner control of the account rather than placing that control with an app or service. One account can be created for the whole network, allowing every participating app to recognize the same account and name.

Account creation opens a second window at vaulta.anchorwallet.io, where the account is set up before the user returns signed in to use it. Anchor can also run in a browser, while its iPhone and Android edition is a separate wallet that creates and stores its own accounts on the phone. Users choose which device generates the account keys, and mobile signing requests open in Anchor for approval on the phone. jungle4.anchorwallet.io provides a practice network for testing account and signing workflows.

The desktop edition suits EOSIO users who want wallet management and authentication from a Mac, including people working with network applications that require account signatures. Anchor Wallet 1.4.0 runs on macOS 12 Monterey or later and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. It is freeware in the Finance & Shopping category.
