About

Map a gamepad’s buttons and sticks to keyboard keys, mouse buttons, cursor movement, scripts, and macros through AntiMicroX’s graphical interface. It lets you control desktop applications and play games that lack native gamepad support by translating controller input into those actions.

Mappings can be arranged into multiple switchable sets, while macros combine keyboard, mouse, and other supported actions into a single controller input. Auto profiles can select a mapping for the active application window, though this feature is unavailable under Wayland. AntiMicroX can also generate SDL2 configurations, which helps expose unusual gamepads as standard layouts such as an Xbox 360 controller.

The program runs on Windows 10 or newer and Windows Server 2016 or newer on x64 systems, and the broader project also supports various Linux distributions with X.org and Wayland. Linux users should note that automatic application profiles do not work in Wayland, and the Flatpak build may have Wayland issues. AntiMicroX is open-source, published by Humanity, and is intended for players, accessibility setups, and anyone controlling desktop software from a gamepad.

Version 3.6.1 fixes an X11 crash in builds with X11 support disabled and corrects blank tray icons in Flatpak. It also updates the Qt and SDL2 versions used by release builds, switches the default build to Qt 6, and refreshes translations; development currently has limited support and no planned new features unless outside contributors provide them.
