AQBot lets you hold AI conversations, compare model answers, and route compatible clients through a desktop gateway. Developed by aqbot, this open-source Windows system tool connects OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and other OpenAI-compatible services through configurable provider profiles. It can retrieve available model lists, tune temperature, maximum tokens, and Top-P, and rotate multiple API keys to distribute rate-limit pressure.

Responses may stream token by token, reveal expandable thinking sections, offer alternate message versions, and branch conversations for comparison. Chats can be pinned, archived, grouped by time, batch-managed, and automatically compressed while preserving important information, while one prompt can be sent to several models side by side. Agent mode handles multi-step work such as reading or writing files, executing commands, and analyzing code.

Approval settings determine whether Agent changes await permission, run automatically, or receive full access, and a chosen working directory acts as its sandbox. Its local gateway exposes OpenAI-compatible, Claude, and Gemini interfaces with access keys, usage analysis, request logs, SSL/TLS, and templates for Claude, Codex, OpenCode, and Gemini. AES-256 protects local API keys, backups can target a local directory or WebDAV, and conversations export as PNG, Markdown, plain text, or JSON; Windows features include themes, multiple languages, tray operation, pinning, global shortcuts, startup control, proxy settings, and update checks.
