Developed by KDE, this open-source Education program gives Linux learners guided exercises centered on listening, speaking, and self-correction. It is designed for people who want to improve how they say complete phrases rather than simply memorize written vocabulary.

Its courses contain recordings from native speakers in several training languages, and learners can download the course material before choosing a phrase category. For every phrase, Artikulate records the learner speaking and plays that recording alongside the native example for direct comparison. Repeating the same exercise helps learners notice differences, adjust their pronunciation, and practice the material again.

Artikulate suits independent language study, classroom practice, and focused repetition sessions where spoken accuracy matters. The current release is version 26.04.3, and it runs on Linux systems with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) hardware.
