AxisIPUtility automatically discovers Axis network video products on a network and displays them for selection. It gives users a focused way to set an Axis device’s IP address while identifying the product to be configured. During initial setup or a later network-address change, the displayed device list provides the starting point for applying new settings.

For a selected device, users can enter an IP address, subnet mask, and default router as explicit network parameters. The utility also supports DHCP, allowing the network’s DHCP service to supply the device’s IP address instead of requiring manual entry. These options suit networks that use planned static addressing as well as those that assign addresses automatically. Its interface is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.

Axis Communications publishes the utility for people configuring Axis network video equipment on a network. As a Windows System Tools program, it runs on x64 Windows systems. The current version is 5.3.1.0.
