Batch Text File Editor can replace, insert, delete, copy, or move text, making it an advanced batch-processing alternative to Notepad. The program supports regular expressions with colored syntax highlighting, substitutions, and an in-app pattern builder for creating and testing expressions. Searches can span multiple lines and use wildcards, case sensitivity, and match-counting options, while tools for selecting HTML or XML tags, lines, and numbers help build patterns. Unicode is supported for both text handling and regular expression processing. Text can be inserted at a specified line or character position, and selected blocks can be deleted, copied, or moved.
