BathyScaphe3.2.1

BathyScaphe lets Mac users read and write on 5ちゃんねる (5ch) more comfortably through a dedicated 2-channel browser. It suits people who follow many discussion boards, participate in threads, or need to find useful information amid noisy conversations.

Smart掲示板s can extract threads that match multiple conditions, giving users another way to organize and manage discussions. A built-in SQLite database engine supports this thread management, while search and extraction tools help locate relevant posts. Its unwanted-post filter blocks distracting or offensive responses, and both filtering and searching can use Oniguruma regular expressions through the integrated CocoaOniguruma framework. BathyScaphe also supports images and ASCII art, preserving the formats commonly encountered in 5ch discussions.

On pressure-sensitive Mac notebook trackpads and Magic Trackpad 2, force-clicking a URL in a post can show that link's contents in Quick Look. The current release is version 3.2.1,1101, runs on macOS as freeware, and supports Intel and Apple Silicon Macs; it requires macOS Big Sur or later. Earlier compatibility work also resolved various minor problems observed on OS X 10.11, and the software is particularly useful for readers who want desktop tools for filtering, searching, and managing 5ch content.
