BikeTrackd records cycling trips with GPS and acts as a speedometer, allowing riders to follow routes and keep a record of each journey. During a ride, it shows current weather from Open-Meteo, the phone’s battery level, and warnings for applicable speed limits. Completed sessions can be exported as GPX files for use in other software, while adjustable font sizes and metric or imperial units make the display easier to read.

Maps can be downloaded for offline use at zoom levels 10 through 14 within a 40-kilometer radius. Online map data comes from OpenFreeMap, city searches use OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and optional A-to-B routing is provided through GraphHopper with the rider’s own free API key. Portrait and landscape layouts are supported, and OLED burn-in protection helps during extended rides.

Beyond navigation, the app lets cyclists create bike records, manage individual parts, log wear, and receive maintenance alerts. It supports English and Portuguese, making it useful for riders planning trips, recording regular commutes, or keeping several bicycles’ service details organized.

The current 0.7.2 release runs on Android 5.0 or later for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices, and is open-source. Its bike-lane speed-limit warning is now translated instead of being fixed in Portuguese.
