bitkinex

bitkinex lets Windows users transfer files and work with directories stored on remote systems from one network client. It connects to servers and WebDAV endpoints through FTP, FTP(S), SFTP, HTTP(S), and WebDAV protocols. This gives people who handle remote files through different connection methods a single application for browsing folders and moving data.

The client opens multiple connections for both directory browsing and file transfers, keeping navigation activity separate from transfer requests. That arrangement is useful when a user needs to inspect a remote location while uploads or downloads continue in the same client. A compact monitoring mode reduces the main interface to a small window showing the status of active requests. A few clicks restore the fuller interface when detailed inspection is required.

bitkinex is suited to routine server maintenance, remote document transfers, and working with hosted directories across several supported protocols. Published by Barad-Dur, it belongs to the System Tools category and runs on Windows rather than serving as a general file manager or platform-independent program. Version 3.2.3.20130823 is the current release. It is distributed under a freeware license, allowing use without a purchase.
