About

Connect BloodFlowMeter hardware to LabChart and use the resulting setup to measure blood cell perfusion in microcirculatory beds. Blood FlowMeter adds the device support that LabChart requires, allowing measurements to be captured and handled within LabChart’s established recording environment. It is designed for work involving perfusion in skin and other tissues, rather than for general-purpose monitoring or analysis on its own.

The supported instrument is manufactured by Oxford Optronix Ltd. and distributed by ADInstruments, while the software addition is published by ADInstruments. Its distinction is the direct bridge between this specialized blood-flow instrument and LabChart, giving researchers a way to bring device measurements into that software instead of treating the hardware as a separate workflow.

Blood FlowMeter suits laboratory researchers and other users who examine microcirculation, particularly when assessing blood cell perfusion across skin or other tissue samples. Typical use places the BloodFlowMeter device alongside LabChart during experiments that require recorded perfusion measurements and subsequent work within the LabChart environment.

Blood FlowMeter runs on Windows and is intended for installation with ADInstruments LabChart and compatible BloodFlowMeter hardware. The current 1.0.0400 release is built for x86 systems and is categorized as System Tools.
