BloodPressure lets users identify and analyze pressure-related parameters in human and animal ventricular and arterial recordings. Published by ADInstruments, it adds these analysis capabilities to LabChart, giving pressure researchers a dedicated way to examine signals within that environment. Analysis can run as data is being collected, allowing immediate assessment during an experiment, or after recording has finished for later review.

Its Classifier detects atypical waveforms in pressure signals and can exclude those waveforms from subsequent analysis. This helps users separate unusual signal patterns from the pressure events they want to assess. It is suited to laboratory teams working with cardiovascular recordings from human or animal experiments, particularly when results must be checked during acquisition as well as examined afterward.

BloodPressure runs on Windows with x86 architecture and operates as a LabChart module, so LabChart provides the recording and analysis environment in which it is used. The current release is version 1.4.0400. It adds a help button to the Blood Pressure Table View and changes Data Pad copying so that, when the Table View contains more than about 16,000 events, the complete table and its summary information are transferred instead of only the first 16,000 rows; the amount copied depends on available PC memory. The release also includes improvements to memory handling.
