Caff1.1

Keep an Android phone’s display awake for a chosen period by tapping Caff’s Quick Settings tile, avoiding a trip through the system display settings. It provides temporary control over the screen timeout for reading, following instructions, presenting information, or any other task that needs the screen to remain visible.

Tapping the tile activates caffeine mode and cycles through the preset durations configured in the app. While the mode is active, the same tile acts as a countdown timer, showing that a timed display-on period is underway. Long-pressing the tile opens Caff’s preferences, where you can select which available durations appear in its cycle. An infinite mode is also available for keeping the display on indefinitely.

Caff is an open-source Android utility in the System Tools category, aimed at anyone who wants quick, temporary display control from the operating system’s Quick Settings panel. Version 1.1 requires Android 8.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. Depending on the device, battery optimizations may need to be disabled for Caff to operate as intended.
