About

CardiacOutput calculates cardiac output from a recorded thermodilution curve inside LabChart. The ADInstruments module adds this specialized analysis capability to LabChart, allowing users to process an existing recording rather than treating the software as a general-purpose analysis package. Its calculation is based on the area under the thermodilution curve.

The analysis also compensates for the curve’s prolonged decay when recirculation of the injectate affects the recorded signal. This accounts for the behavior of the thermodilution trace as it returns toward baseline, producing a cardiac output calculation within the LabChart workflow. It is intended for LabChart users examining recorded thermodilution data in research or physiological measurement settings.

CardiacOutput 1.3.0400 is a Windows release for x86 architecture, published by ADInstruments. The current version includes various enhancements, including the restored ability to add results to the Data Pad again. Users should have LabChart available because CardiacOutput operates as an extension of that software rather than as an independent analysis environment.
