Chatterino2.5.6

Read, write, and manage Twitch conversations from a dedicated Mac desktop client with Chatterino. It brings Twitch chat into a focused communication workspace, helping users follow channel discussions without relying on a browser window. Chatterino supports emotes from Twitch, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV, so familiar community expressions appear directly in chat.

Multiple chats can be arranged side-by-side within one tab, making it practical to monitor several channels at once. Users can define their own criteria for ignoring messages or highlighting them, while mention notifications help draw attention when someone addresses them. The client also supports conversations in online communities as well as “top-secret” offline chats.

Chatterino is a native desktop application designed to use little CPU and GPU capacity, which can reduce the workload on a laptop during long chat sessions. It is freeware and is intended for Mac users who communicate through Twitch, including viewers participating in several communities at once. The current version is 2.5.6 for macOS and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware.
