Clima3.3.0

Clima lets users choose a location and view weather information through a clean, minimal interface, including an eight-day forecast for planning ahead. It obtains its weather data through the Open-Meteo API, while location search uses Open-Meteo geocoding data based on GeoNames. Imperial units, light and dark themes, and an interface without advertisements or trackers make it suited to people who want a straightforward forecast on an Android phone.

In version 3.3.0, a location dropdown search makes selecting places easier, and the interface has been migrated to Material You with support for the system’s dynamic colors. The release also adds Android per-app language support, along with other improvements and fixes.

Clima requires Android 6.0 or later on the arm64-v8a architecture, so it is aimed at compatible Android devices rather than desktop systems. The open-source application is licensed under the Mozilla Public License, version 2.0.

Open-Meteo supplies both the weather and geocoding data under CC BY 4.0. The logo, designed by Paolo Spot Valzania, uses CC BY 3.0, while the weather icons come from amCharts under CC BY 4.0; the fog icon comes from Google’s Material Symbols under the Apache License 2.0.
